Locally Made Farmer's Market

The Locally Made Market in Beattyville, Kentucky (also called the Beattyville Main Street Marketplace / Locally Made Farmers Market) is a weekly farmers & artisan market aimed at supporting local growers, makers, and small producers. The market is located at 290 Main Street, in the Ed Jackson Building. It’s open Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on the first & second Saturdays of each month from about 9:00 AM to noon. You’ll find a mix of fresh produce, fruits, and vegetables; baked goods; handcrafted items like soaps, wood products, jewelry; and other artisan/craft products. There are programs to support food access: during the summer growing season (June-October), SNAP users can participate in the Kentucky Double Dollars program to stretch their benefits at the market. They also manage the Senior Citizen Nutrition Program. Overall, the Locally Made Market serves as both an economic and social hub, letting locals and visitors alike buy fresh, local food and handmade goods, get to know local producers, and support the regional economy in Lee County
